Naviance Teacher Letters of Recommendations

Instructions

Log in to Naviance via www.id.naviance.com
  1. Check your requests on the main page
  2. Search for the student by clicking SEARCH FOR STUDENT on the top left of the page
  3. Click EDOCS
  4. Click PREPARE
  5. Under teacher documents click ADD
  6. Upload your letter
  7. After uploading your letter, repeat step 5
  8. Click PREPARE A FORM and complete the COMMON APP TEACHER EVALUATION
  9. Next to PREPARE click SEND
  10. Click on the college(s) where you want to send your materials
  11. Click REVIEW AND SUBMIT
  12. Click SUBMIT
  13. Notify student of your submission (view last 2 screen shots below)

Reminders

1. This delivery type means that the letter of recommendation must be sent by mail. The student is responsible for providing you with an envelope and a stamp.

2. Naviance will slow down a couple days before November 1. Submit early! 

3. Students must match their Common App to Naviance, add the college to their list, and sign the FERPA waiver before you can send your letter to Common App schools. If your letter won't send, the student probably hasn't completed one of the items mentioned.
